We Are A Small Family Business Who Have Worked Within The Hospitality Sector Since 1992, Working A Number Of Different Type Of Venues From B+B, Hotels & Nightclubs!

We Both Worked Together When This Venue Was Formerly Known As `Rioja` Going Through The Tough Times Of 2020 & Rebuilding Once Lock-down Was Lifted.

In January 2023 We Got An Offer Of Owning The Venue & Making It Our Own As The Previous Owner Of Rioja Wanted To Explore Other Challenges.

`We Opened Our Downstairs Ignition Cocktail Bar In March 2023 & Always Wanted To Expand Into The Upstairs Empty Dining Area, To Bring Something Totally Different & Modern In To Our Lovely, Lively Town Of Ulverston.

We Looked At Many Different Ideas & Concepts, To Bring Groups Of People Together To Have A Great Socialising  Experience, After 14 Months of Research, Work Began In Planning & The Build Of The New Second Floor Area, Opening In May 2024.
